Artist's Comments

When the wise man points to the moon, all the fool sees is the finger.

I hadn't even planned this shot, only took some photos to test my camera after it had taken a fall. The concept just hit me when I looked at the pic in the computer.
Reminds me a tad of the postcards from Grafikwerkstatt Bielefeld. (Check 'em out, they're great!)

PS: Gonna submit it for =onewordphoto's GUIDE challenge. After all, this is about giving and receiving guidance.

This shot is simply eye-catching. The contrast between the foreground and background is what makes it a winner. Perhaps I'm just a sucker for such photography? I love the prominent skeleton of the tree. Very nice. :)

Thank you so much for the fav  and also for your detailed comment, I really appreciate the feedback. I like the contrast, too, the sharpness in the foreground and the soft colors in the back :aww:

This is so beautiful. And, you know, the moment I saw the tile I thouhght of that saying you've written down. It really fits the photo even though I think it's good if the text would only be in the description but it doesn't really disturb the photo itself so it's good there as well.

I love the pastel like background, its smooth and gentle colours. Not to forget the blurred moon. The sharpness on the foreground is great and the branch, it isn't hard to associate it with a finger. Good job.

I like the compo and the concept. Lovely colours. I really think that the colour is adding a lot to the picture. And the frame is fantastic. It matchs the photo very well. Very, very good my friend.

Thanks a lot  Yes, I love the colors, too. And the best thing is, they're all natural, not enhanced at all!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts :aww: Yea, right now I also think the photo would be better without the words. (And tomorrow I change my mind again :XD:) Yes, I love the colors, too, and the blur/sharpness there :]

I love the focus and the colour and I agree with of how the tree looks skeletal. I also really like how the branch is a silhouette, which captures the shape of the it. :)
